Points to ConsiderÂ
The Black Male Institute for Educational Leadership was born out of the need to support Black men in education due to being one of the lowest demographic representation in the field of education from teacher to school leadership roles. We acknowledge the support and efforts of all in and around education to lift all students up via individual efforts and organizational energy. The movement via the Black Male Institute for Educational Leadership is about self reflection and accountability in our specific culture and raising the bar in who we are, what we provide, and improving the many facets of society via the growth of Black males in education in skill and ability and in numbers.Â

We are inclusive and supportive to any and all individuals and organizations who have the mission to lift up all students and create spaces of changes for the next generation. We appreciate the recognition of the Black culture, its uniqueness, and the value it has brought the world over generations not as a point to be divisive, but as a point of celebration of humanity and togetherness while appreciating diversity.
